Ellen M. Draegert, Esq.
Ellen M. Draegert's practice includes advising on trademark availability
and infringement issues; prosecution of domestic and international trademark
registration applications; advising on use and strategy related to copyright
protection; prosecution and maintenance of copyright registrations, conducting
intellectual property due diligence activities; drafting of intellectual
property agreement provisions in connection with mergers and acquisitions;
and advising on domestic and international protection and enforcement
of intellectual property rights. Ms Draegert continues to be heavily involved
with domestic patent prosecution, especially in the area of business method
patents, using her considerable expertise in formal matters related to
Ms. Draegert previously worked as an Intellectual Property paralegal for
nine years, handling domestic and international patent and trademark selection,
prosecution and maintenance, as well as domestic copyright prosecution
and maintenance, and management of varied multinational intellectual property
portfolios. Ms. Draegert also previously worked in private industry in
various capacities, including as a marketing analyst and corporate communications editor.
Ms. Draegert was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 2009. Ms. Draegert
holds a bachelor of arts degree from Bates College and received her law
degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
