John L. Janick, Esq.
Mr. Janick's practice includes drafting and prosecuting domestic and
international patent applications in the electrical and mechanical arts.
His practice covers a wide range of technical fields, including communications
systems, analog/digital circuits, radar/sonar systems, semiconductors,
automotive components, digital imaging devices, and optics.
In addition to patent preparation and prosecution, Mr. Janick's practice
includes preparing patentability, invalidity and non-infringement opinions,
client counseling, and trademark and copyright registration. Mr. Janick
also has experience preparing requests for
inter partes and
ex parte reexamination proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,
as well as in patent litigation matters, including actions before the
International Trade Commission.
Mr. Janick is admitted into practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and
before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Janick holds a degree in
mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and has pursued graduate
studies in electrical engineering at Temple University. He received his
law degree from Widener University School of Law.
